Mallada del Llop, one of the most prominent peaks in the Serrella mountain range, rising from Beniarda, offers an exciting experience for hikers and nature lovers. With an altitude of 1,361 metres, the mountain provides stunning views of the surrounding valleys. The path to the summit takes us through diverse landscapes, including the Guadalest reservoir below.
We will make the climb from Barranc de la Canal. This steep ravine cuts its way through the stunning landscape of the Sierra de Serrella, offering views of towering cliffs and exposed rocks. The trail meanders through the wide ravine, with sections requiring attention and a good level of fitness. Along the route, hikers are rewarded with stunning views of the Guadalest Valley. The rugged beauty of Barranc de la Canal, coupled with its sense of adventure as it is a little-travelled route, makes this climb an unforgettable part of the journey to Mallada del Llop.
