An easy mountain bike route in Alicante that can be done in 2 hours, we will start the route leaving from our own house Llar de Beniarda walking towards the Guadalest reservoir.

Leaving our house towards the Guadalest reservoir, we have two options to reach the dam.

One is simpler, although a little more ñarga and runs on paved track little travels along the left bank of the river.

The other, that we will take as soon as we leave the village to our right until we go down directly to the reservoir runs along its right bank. Once in the reservoir and finished the asphalt we must cross a small stream that we will do on foot, then without further difficulty we will continue to the dam along the track parallel to the reservoir.

Upon reaching the dam, cross it and go through the gate and continue a few meters along the asphalt until you find the detour to the left that does not go down to the riverbed.

From here we will only have to continue the track parallel to the river that will lead us to Altea.
